Once again, the Westview Elementary PTA and East Brainerd Youth Athletic Association (EBYAA) are working together to bring you the 2011 Harvest Hoedown. The joint efforts of these two organizations are building on the foundation that was set last year to develop an even bigger and better festival for the East Brainerd community. This thriving partnership has proven its worth by providing visibility and fundraising opportunities for both the ball park and the school, allowing revenue to be channeled directly back into our community both in education and athletics.
WESTVIEW ELEMENTARYUnder the leadership of Principal Margo Williams, Westview Elementary serves almost 800 students. Westview boasts exceptional teachers and parental support through an active Parent Teacher Association and the dedication of countless volunteers.
Westview students and staff have earned Straight A’s for the Tennessee State Report Card for multiple years. This achievement would not have been possible without the many contributions of corporations, community organizations, staff, teachers, parents, and families. Students must be equipped with the tools they need to succeed, and the State Report Card is a shining reflection of those who contribute to education throughout the year.

EAST BRAINERD YOUTH ATHLETIC ASSOCIATIONEast Brainerd Youth Athletic Association is a non-profit organization formed in 1962 to provide the youth of the East Brainerd and surrounding communities with the opportunity to participate in a wholesome, well-rounded sports environment.
EBYAA is an all-volunteer organization, which cannot exist without the continued efforts of dedicated parents, coaches, volunteers, and a committed community. We believe this spirit of volunteerism and participation is essential to community health. Our primary mission is to provide the best possible experience for the children involved in all of our recreational programs.
EBYAA offers programs in Baseball, Softball, Football, and Cheerleading. In 2010 our programs involved nearly 1500 children in the pursuit of athletic recreation and competition. It is our hope that EBYAA will provide an opportunity for character development in all of its participants and will promote a community of well-being.
